From one of the largest, most famous and most trusted companies of the world – Nestle S.A. – comes the Nespresso espresso machine product line.

If there is one investment in the coffee-loving lifestyle that millions of people call their own, then these coffee pod machines should be on top of the list.

Nestle is the Swiss food and nutrition giant founded and headquartered in Vevey as a result of the 1905 merger between the Anglo-Swiss Milk Company established by the Page brothers and the Farine Lactee Henri Nestle Company founded by Henri Nestle. Today, it has offices in virtually every country in the world, 86 as of last count, with over 283,000 employees.

Its more revolutionary product was the world’s first infant formula, which was soon followed by other food products. At present, Nestle boasts of 6,000 brands over a wide range of markets from eye care, sports performance and healthcare nutrition to frozen foods, breakfast cereals and pet food, among others.

Indeed, to say that the Nestle name is a global household name is an understatement.

With such a company reputation to back it up, the choice of a Nespresso espresso machine for the home and office is guaranteed to be a success.

This espresso machine was and is a product of continuing research and development undertaken by the Nestle Nespresso SA, the strategic Nestle business unit in charge of this particular product line, in addition to its activities related to raw material sourcing, production and distribution of the espresso capsules.

Today, the Nespresso product line has several different categories, the latest is the Nespresso Vertuo. Other models include the older Inissia, the Essenza, the Pixie, the Lattissima and my favorite the Nespresso Citiz, all of which offer high-tech features with sophisticated design worthy to be placed front and center on any kitchen counter.

Each Nespresso espresso machine requires the addition of a single-serve capsule of espresso coffee into the appropriate receptacle. Nestle’s exclusive extraction technique, which was specifically created to fit the Nestle capsules, bring out the best in espresso with every cup.

Such an advanced technique is made possible through several features including a high pressure pump, the patented Thermobloc system, and the optimal filtration system, among others.

Indeed, the manufacturers of the Nespresso machine product line stand behind its claim of incomparable espresso, a claim that consumers have been delighted to discover as truthful down to the last drop of strong, aromatic, delicious coffee.

Of course, consumers also have the choice of colors in the espresso machines from the basic black to the fiery red for which the Nestle brand is known for.

The latest unit in the long Nespresso machine product line is the Nespresso Vertuo that boasts a 40 oz water tank and a 15 second warm up time.

      Centrifusion Technology

The Vertuo uses a capsule that once activated will spin at seven thousand rotations per minute. The finely-grounded coffee grinds in the airtight aluminum capsules are subjected to just the right level of pressure while the water reservoir provides the right degree of heat.

You will then have the same results in strength, flavor and body with each brew. As the mmachine extracts the flavor, aroma and body of the coffee to provide strong, flavorful and delicious espresso with a smooth crema.

The Vertuo can produce five different coffee sizes, options include the 7.7 oz Coffee and 1.35 oz.

After each capsule is extracted of its contents, this excellent Nespresso espresso machine automatically ejects it into a collection container for easy disposal. The water is also ejected after each use to ensure that only fresh water is poured into the capsule for maximum freshness.

In contrast, the traditional espresso machine requires an expert hand to determine the right pressure, heat and time for the perfect espresso. This means that experimentation is a must with no guarantee that you can keep the same results with each brewing cycle.

The Nespresso Inissia Espresso Maker is one of the easiest espresso coffee makers to use on the market. There is an easy place to insert and eject Nespresso coffee capsules to instantly make something delicious!

This machine is concise and compact, and most importantly, easy to use. It preheats very fast (in just 25 seconds) and is equipped with a pressure bump that measures 19 Bars high. There are 2 programmable buttons on the machine to choose between either an Espresso or a lungo option.

The water tank attached to it can hold up to 24 ounces, and the cup tray (that folds) can even hold tall recipe glasses. The capsule container to fill with used capsules can hold 9-11 of them.

To save you money on hydro, the entire Nespresso machine is energy efficient and is in the A Class of energy ratings. If you aren’t using it for 9 minutes, it will shut off automatically. On top of all of this, it is incredibly affordable, especially if you are on a budget!

        Pros
        • Easy to Use
        • Does Not Take Up much space
        • Preheats very fast
        • Creates coffee/espresso in under a minute
        • Can hold a lot of water
        • Can make a lot of drinks
        • Very affordable price
        Cons
        • Can only be used with Nespresso capsules
        • Not of the highest quality epresso

If you are looking for an affordable espresso machine, and you don’t want to worry about learning anything new, then the Nespresso Inissia Espresso Maker is definitely the right one for you. One of the best things about it is you just slip in a Nespresso coffee capsule and let the machine do the work. That being said, it will not give you the most elite espressos that other machines make!

        Nespresso Essenza Mini Espresso Machine

Yet another excellent Nespresso machine is the Mini Essenza, which features a compact, modern and practical design perfect for home and office kitchens.

Also, its design is such that every vital setting in the preparation of the perfect cup of espresso will be taken cared of while the user also fills the right receptacle with the specially-designed coffee capsules.

The machine perforates with small holes the hermetically-sealed espresso capsule, pours the hot water with just the right temperature and soaks all the ground coffee for optimum filtration. This is followed by the action of the 19-bars pressure pump to extract every last drop of goodness from the ground beans. The result is perfect espresso with the smoothest crema only seen in the works of professional baristas using a pricey espresso machine.

Just pour the espresso into your favorite demitasse cup and enjoy. Clean-up is easy, fast and convenient because this Nespresso espresso machine automatically ejects the used capsule while the excess water is also automatically emptied from the built-in thermos. This way, a fresh cup of delicious espresso is always available for your enjoyment.

Other notable feature of the Mini Essenza is the control for customizing the amount of coffee per cup, with the 1.35oz Espresso button or the 50z Lungo option.

Indeed, if there is one investment in the coffee-loving lifestyle that millions of people call their own, then the Nespresso espresso machine should be on top of the list. Add in the coffee capsules and your coffee life is complete.
